Without a Title

It's been a while since I posted some new photos, so before you get curious and excited about the one above, I sadly have to disappoint you - it's just two new photos. So ok, I really wanted to have a little shoot today and make outfit photos but once I actually got ready and stepped outside, I kind of change my mind. My mood went from good to all 'I hate this wind and this weather' and 'ugh, why is nothing in my life ever right?'. But it's probably far from the bad weather that is the reason for my negative energy, and more like my stress levels having reached a peak. To be honest, I don't even know if 'stressed' defines it, or if there are even words to describe the intensity of feelings at the moment. I just know that April is going to be absolutely insane. Only five weeks left to finish and submit all the work, meaning the 3 years I spent at university were building up until this moment. It's like rehearsing something over and over before the big show.

Thankfully, I found something that actually made me feel better in the last few days. Ok, well not the last few days but more like the whole last week. And it's actually a song by Alex Adair called Make Me Feel Better, haha quite ironic. But for real, music has always been a cure and medicine for my soul and this song from the first seconds just fills my body and mind with tons of positive vibes. I know a lot of you may already know it, but then again this blog is not about the newest song releases but rather about the all-abouts of the moments, and in this particular moment I am listening to it and just imagining ripped high-rise shorts, warm sand, and gorgeous summer sunsets. I know I will be listening to this song a lot in the next months, or playing it in the car as loud as I can. What is your current favorite song to jam out to? I would love to hear what you guys are listening to!

With Love,
Bri

  1. Bri - April is a crazy month for me as well! I have something written in almost every day of my calendar, and that is NOT normal for me. It would be great to see a post about your favorite ways to relieve stress, besides listening to music (although a playlist of your faves could be a great addition!). My latest obsession has been Tove Lo. Loving her upbeat music this time of year, for an energy boost! Anyway, I hope the month goes somewhat smoothly for you, and you remember to breathe and keep the end goal/prize in mind! It will all be accomplished soon! Best of luck!

    1. It's so overwhelming sometimes, isn't it? Are you in university as well? At least writing down what you need to do on your calendar helps a little, I haven't done that for a while and I think that's where I've been going wrong! Some years ago I've heard something like 'if the room you work in is unorganized and messy, so will be your thoughts' - I guess the same goes for the things you need to do. I will listen to Tove Lo as I've only heard a few songs really, but I cannot wait for Florence and The Machine's new album to come out, it's going to be the best! P.S thanks for the article idea, I will think about something witty, although I am no master of battling stress haha! Also, good luck to you too and I'm sure this month will be over before we know it! Hugs x

    2. At least we can think of each other and know we're not the only one having a crazy month! I'm not in university, I graduated a few years ago. I'm stuck behind a desk these days. :-)

I LIVE by that motto, that the clutter in your space around you impacts your thoughts and inner peace. I hate being surrounded by clutter and "stuff." I'm definitely a minimalist!
