Espana. Photo Diary Part 1
15:00:00
So as promised, here is my first photo diary from Spain! It was my first time in this part of Europe, so I was beyond excited. Actually it's my 15th country already that I can cross off the list, and my dream is to see maybe not all of them but a lot of them! Well, anyways back to Spain. I know city trips are not exactly a relaxing type of vacation obviously as you have a lot of walking, exploring and sight-seeing to do but Barcelona is actually kind of a perfect place. It has a huge beach as well a fantastic amount of places to see and visit. However, I am a little upset now and wish I would have chosen to stay there longer than just a few days instead of flying to Madrid. But I have an excuse to come back next time and really relax. I wanted to see all of the most popular places as well as enjoy a dip or two in the Mediterranean sea. I managed to do it all, but it felt really rushed and I was exhausted by the end of my vacation so that's a clear sign that for cities like Barcelona you definitely need more time than for your usual beach holiday. Especially because of very important things like siesta, during which almost every living creature tries to hide in the shade of the street or at home and nap lazily till the air cools down.
With Love,
Bri

Would you visit Eastern Europe?
ReplyDeleteDepending which country you mean? I have already been to a few Eastern Europe countries and am originally from one myself.
DeleteGreat pics! Love the one of the boats with the bird taking off (or landing) in the corner. Cool moment!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yup, there are a lot of seagulls in Barcelona and it reminded a lot of the town in Wales where I was studying:)
