I was thinking if I should share the photos from my phone and Instagram, but I believe if you follow my blog you are also following my Instagram feed too. That's why I decided to stray away from doing that and will post the photos only from my camera for now. My mother was always quite fascinated by my ability to remember directions and 'feel' locations. And to tell you the truth, I felt so good in Barcelona that my senses in terms of location was kind of surprising even me. I knew the metro stations at a glance, and directions in which I had to go came so naturally. Whereas in Madrid, I felt so confused, my sense of location was really off, although the city I believe is much much smaller that Barcelona. I generally would recommend anyone who's never travelled in Europe to include Barcelona in the list of cities-to-visit, alongside Paris, London etc. It's very unique, and charming and will make you fall in love with it madly despite some really noticeable negative factors. You will be surprised how lively people can be at 1am still enjoying their dinners in an outdoors restaurant and living like they are on vacation a whole year-round. I still hear words 'sangria, mojitos!' in my mind so clearly, which takes me back to the sunny, hot Barceloneta beach. I miss it a lot but I know I will come back, sooner or later.
