Gloomy Wednesday afternoon. The only productive thing I did today was change from my pajamas to sweatpants. It's one of those days where I just wanna hide in a blanket fort and wait for it to go away. I grew up in a place where winters were minus 20 degrees celsius, sometimes minus 30, or worse. You had to dig out a road in the snow if you wanted to leave your house. I don't remember the last time I witnessed a winter this extreme. As a child I used to love it, but I've always been a summer lover in my heart. I was born in July, which is definitely the hottest month of the year and I love the heat no matter how much I complain about it sometimes. I would rather be sweating then freezing. But I suppose that's where all the beauty lies, and where our appreciation comes from. It comes from the change of seasons, from the growth of our mind and soul. I keep on returning to the same idea over and over again, that there is no ups without downs, and there is no good without bad. Same goes for my love for summer, without winter and the cold I would not be able to appreciate it so much. So now, when I see the colourful leaves on the streets, or grab a thicker sweater in my closet, I do appreciate it. I just need to remind myself to do so.

I showed these photos to my best friend and she said I look sad. I wasn't, just serious. Funny how people can think something's wrong just because you're not smiley or laughing. It was Saturday afternoon, and the weather was perfect enough to just put on a sweater, wrap a scarf around your neck and go. Perfect, right? Weather aside, I was thinking of sharing with you the blogs I read or the films I love most, would you be interested in this kind of stuff on the blog? Oh, and I just remembered something I forgot to mention to you. It's a little treat for those who love Daniel Wellington watches, and since the Christmas is not too far away, it's a perfect gift for your family and friends. 1. I would love to have you share some of your favorite blogs and films, especially from the unique perspective of being a film studies graduate. I watched Bram Stoker's Dracula earlier this week, in honor of the upcoming holiday, and at some point mid-movie, I thought of you because one of the first exchanges we had was about Anthony Hopkins movies, lol.

    1. Thanks for your comment Aimee! I will most likely share a blog post about it this week then. And I have the same thought each time I see Anthony Hopkins haha. I even used to keep a poster of him in my dorm room!!!:)
