The Perfect Shoulder Bag

04:48:00

Happy Monday everyone! I know it might not be everyone's favorite day of the week, and we all have 'one of those Mondays' every now and then, but I personally love them. It's like a fresh new start again and again, and a chance to make it a great and productive week. I started mine with emails, coffee, running some errands, blogging, and later I have some appointments. So pretty busy! And every busy girl needs to stay organized, right? It really helps me to stay in a positive frame of mind if I have an organized environment around me if I need to get some work done. If I am on the go, then my bag is my everything. And today I want to talk about the perfect shoulder bag. You've probably seen throughout my blog that I love wearing those. Now I have to admit, I used to be the kinda girl who would always buy a massive bag (I think this habit came from school days that a bag needs to be large enough to carry the books and all my other stuff), I still have a few of those but I don't wear them anymore. Simply because they feel like a burden. And I always have a mini heart attack when trying to find a wallet or my phone in those type of bags. However, with shoulder bags that are very limited in space you have to take only the necessities. So three shades of lipsticks are not needed anymore, you only take cash or your debit/credit card with you, your passport/ID when travelling, your phone and if you're lucky to have some more space left, then a mini hairbrush can come with - et voila! So take a look at this bag from Pedro I've been loving lately and will for sure carry with me this fall/winter season everywhere.

Life is so much easier when you're out in town/travelling with a small bag, trust me I learned from myself when I switched from massive bags to much smaller ones. But by no means I am saying you shouldn't purchase bigger handbags - because it's always good to have options for different occasions, right? I hope your week starts out well! xo

With Love,
Bri

  1. I love love love this bag! I've gotten out of the massive bag realm, but I'm still stuck in the semi-massive bag realm. I just can't seem to squeeze all my "necessities" into a super small bag, although I desperately want to! Maybe if I find the perfect small bag, like you have, that will be the inspiration I need to find a way to downsize.

And I agree with you about Mondays. Although my job has gotten a lot more stressful and intense lately, so I don't enjoy Mondays like I used to, but since graduating from school, I've always approached Mondays in the same way you have - I didn't spend my precious Sunday night hours dreading them. That's changed just a little bit, but I'm still trying to hold on to a generally positive feeling about Mondays. I'm hoping the job intensity will calm down a little bit soon, since a lot of it stems from big changes we've been making, and everything will feel more manageable and less overwhelming. But at least I am now starting to get more of a cozy, holiday feeling, which also helps in the general good mood keeping.

Have a great week Bri! I must admit, I am FINALLY out of post ideas (and most of my pre-scheduled posts are published now), so I'll have to seek out inspiration again.

    1. I can definitely relate! We women need A LOT of things, it doesn't matter that half of the things in our bag we don't even use. But you know, just in case! Haha. Sorry to hear about you being stressed out! I am sure it will pass and you'll be grateful that everything's back to normal. I am starting to think about holiday season too, and nothing besides the fact that I need to start getting some Christmas presents really gives that feeling of holiday mood just yet. But I'm sure once the Christmas market begins here I will be fully immersed in the Christmas spirit blasting 'Jingle Bells' on full volume haha.

Regarding issue with inspiration - it's normal, it comes and goes. So don't worry about it! P.S I really enjoyed your travel essentials post and can't wait to see where you're headed next! Have a great week as well! x
