Zürich

Hello guys! Today I'm back with a new set of images from one of the most beautiful cities in Switzerland - Zürich. I was lucky to have been to Zürich before, although only for a layover two times, and once for a day trip, but to be honest I was not head over heels for it. I mean I admired the beautiful old town, a stunning lake with the Alps in a far distance, but something just didn't captivate me to the extent where I would say 'it's awesome, I have to come back here'. However, this time I was really glad to go once more and see if I feel the same. And guess what, I did not! It was such a lovely day, and the weather was no joke around or even over +18 degrees Celsius. I was really confused how could it possibly be so warm in November, and why some people in the city wore t-shirts and others their jackets. That being said, I had to ditch my coat, and well no complaints about that! As well as that, I went to see Rhine Falls for the second time, as it is only half an hour drive from Zürich. For those, who don't know what it is - it's basically the European version of Niagara Falls. Of course much smaller, but still it's the biggest waterfall in Europe. So I added some photos below for you to see what it looks like. Since the weather was so wonderful, I witnessed something incredible near Rhine Falls - a rainbow! It was such a magical moment, which I couldn't help but capture with my camera to share with you guys.

I really like Switzerland, it has grown on me with each visit and I am already looking forward to going back there again when I have a chance. I have never seen people so happy, stylish and relaxed anywhere else. It is really understandable why it is one of the best countries to live. What I love about Switzerland is also Luxemburgerli macarons (I know, I know le sigh, so cliché). But seriously, it's a Swiss version of Ladurée macarons and it tastes so good! There are still so many places I need to discover in Zürich, as they have lots of fancy restaurants, cozy cafés, unique boutiques and shops. One would need at least a week to really experiece the city. And a big bank account. Haha! I really hope you guys like the photos, although now looking at them I feel like I edited them a bit too dark-ish, but still I am grateful that it was such a warm and fun trip to one of the best cities in the world! If you have ever been to Zürich, let me know what you think about it.

With Love,
Bri

  2. Looks beautiful! I notice you always end up with a photo of someone's dog - is that conscious of you, or just a coincidence? Haha

    1. Actually before I even snapped this photo I was thinking, 'wait, I did that in Strasbourg' haha! I think it's just an animal lover in me who always wants to snap a photo of a dog or a cat whenever I see one. Another thing, although I would choose a cat over a dog (if picking a pet), I was born in the year of dog, so maybe that explains why! Hard to say :)
