Topshop striped dress

Less than a year and a half ago I was sitting in my dormitory room thinking how much I wanna start a blog, where I could share one of my biggest passions - photographs. I don't even want to think the amount of photos I took in my whole lifetime, I am sure it is more than I would ever be able to look through. Not to mention how many of them never made it to this blog, were never posted and were taken just for the pure pleasure of capturing the moment. Nonetheless, I always loved that tingling feeling inside when I heard a camera click. A moment photographed forever. A look, a pose, a smile. I don't know how many people appreciate photos as deeply as I do. I rip pages from fashion magazines, look at a photograph and admire it for several minutes. I don't think the photos I share here on the blog are anywhere as good though, but I do hope that someone likes looking at them. I sure do enjoy trying my best to make them as professional as possible. And to think that just a year and a half later, still being just an amateur blogger, I am able to work with brands like Topshop really blows my mind. I never expected that things that were once surreal and out of reach can be possible. This only goes to show, that even the smallest dream can always come true.
You've probably noticed that I have been wearing heels a lot more lately, which I normally never do. I have been experimenting with my style a lot more than before as well, and I am happy to say that I am not just a certain type. I am not a type to fit into one filter, or into one specific style. My closet resembles a rainbow, and I will not stop experimenting with clothes until I think I've tried it all. I've always loved wearing dresses though, they always give you that powerful feminine feeling. And more often than not they make people's heads turn. I mean who doesn't like a little confidence boost when wearing a good outfit? I hope you like this outfit I picked in collaboration with Topshop and Shopping Links. It's perfect for a professional environment, yet it is chick enough to wear in the city or for a dinner with someone special. Since it's a monochrome kinda outfit focused on cuts, shapes and accents, I chose a brighter lip colour to add a nice contrast. What do you think of this dress and how would you style it for a day in the city?
Today I'm listening to: Conrad Sewell - Remind Me (Steve James Remix)

DeleteThese photos are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wish I could wear heels. I love experimenting with clothes as well, but I'm very clumsy and so heels are definitely not an option for me.
I'm in love with that dress! The cut it absolutely perfect. x Alona

The behind-the-scenes photos where I changed directly into sneakers right after the photoshoot didn't make it to this blogpost haha. So don't worry about not wearing heels. I wear flat shoes most of the time and heels are just for special occasions! :) Thank you for your sweet comment Alona. x
DeleteEhmagard, you're soooo gorgeous!

Oh Julian! Hahah thank you so much. The location is in Frankfurt, 5 minute walk from my house (as are most of my photoshoots haha). I am so happy you check out the songs! I will continue to share them.
