OOTD: Pink Playsuit

The usual scenario of how my every outfit shooting stars is something like this: 'Nicola oh my gosh, I have nothing to wear!'. 'What is my style? Am I all about that minimal style or am I a walking rainbow?!'. Then I get lectured for about 10 minutes how I shouldn't care at all or try go in just one direction. Style is meant to be versatile and playful, it shouldn't be specific. Life is way too short for that. Yet, I seem to have a hard time accepting my own craziness. But that's why I love having friends like Nicola, who as you know is making most of the photos for my blog as well. You may wonder why would I put myself through that hassle if I find it so annoying sometimes? Well I will answer that for you right there, because I love it and blogging makes me happy. No, I don't get paid for any of this. Yes, most of the stuff I wear in the photos is gifted but that's all a part of the game. It challenges me to step out of that comfortable circle of clothes which typically consist of old tshirts and boring blue jeans. It makes me experiment, and that is what I love about blogging.

Most of the time, I open a door wearing a bathrobe and greeting Nicola with a big smile and a somewhat confused expression. 'What outfit should we shoot today?' I ask and then she barges into my bedroom swinging my closet door open and coming up with something genius. Two brains is always better than one. She dug out this playsuit that I had neglected long ago and wasn't sure when to make photos of and then I combined them with these beige wedge sandals that I bought last summer. In fact, I almost sprained my ankle wearing them in Barcelona last summer. Not sure if it was one too many sangrias or just the fact that wedges and cobblestone pavements don't go together very well. On the way out I grabbed her bicycle and it made for a perfect outfit, which I really love and hope you do too. Although I promised to wear less pink and experiment more with other colours, I would be lying if I said I am not head over heels with this lovely pink playsuit. Leave me comment to share your opinion on this outfit. P.S Do you like wearing playsuits?

  7. That is such an adorable playsuit! That color is so pretty on you! I also go back and forth between wanting a colorful, crazy wardrobe and a minimalistic wardrobe! That's the fun thing about fashion though - mixing it up! :)
