Dreams Are Made To Be Caught

03:34:00

Almost a month later of mia, here I am finally able to actually collect all my thoughts and share them with you. I struggled so much to sit down and to write something in the blog for the past month, simply because I didn't know where to begin. And no, this time it wasn't like all those other times where I didn't know what to say. This time there is so much to say that I kept on postponing this blog post for weeks hoping I will have this genius idea how to open my heart here and share all that is happening right now. I kept saying there is something exciting coming up in my life and when it actually happened I was so busy and focused to be present in the moment that I neglected you guys here. I am really sorry about that! But we all know that life is unpredictable. You can spend hours or weeks planning something and most likely, things will not happen the way you want them to. There is never any certainty. I really wanted to tell you about it sooner but I was extremely busy to say the least. Not to stray away from the topic though, I will just say that I made two vlogs, which I never published and now it's too late to post them. I wanted to write an article telling you all about my big announcement but it's way overdue now as I am actually sitting here now two weeks later in a new apartment, in a new city, and a new country. Two weeks ago, I packed my life in two big suitcases and moved to Dubai. Now try to guess why...

No matter all the difficulties and obstacles on the way, don't ever give up on your dreams. If you follow my blog for about a year, you probably remember that I wanted to become a flight attendant since last summer. My first attempt was not successful but that did not discourage me, I knew where to improve and what I needed to do to get better - so I worked hard for it. And here I am in the city of dreams, starting the biggest adventure of my life! I studied film and television studies, I worked in retail, yet I knew that my biggest passion was to somehow implement all these fields into one. Traveling, being surrounded by people, seeing the beauty of the world and capturing moments as I go. I have to pinch myself each time when I see the stunning sunset from my new apartment, or when I see the immense beauty of Dubai's skyline each time I pass by with a car. It's surreal. I could not ask for anything better and I feel beyond grateful. I am learning and growing so much, and although I still have almost two months of intense training, I wouldn't want to change a thing. You know you made a right decision when you get goosebumps just because you are in love with life. It all feels so right.

  6. Just discovered your blog and I love your posts and pictures! I've been chasing my dream to become an EK cabin crew as well. I was unsuccessful twice so I was twice one step away to go to Dubai. I'm trying to improve myself in order to finally ace that final interview. This post in particular touched my heart. Thank you for sharing you story <3
