A Desert Life

There is one thing that I haven't done since moving to Dubai - I haven't looked back. You are simply too busy here to do that, so I focus only on the now and I love it. Before I used to have so much time to contemplate things, worry and daydream. Now it is all in this moment, which might be one of the reasons why I am rarely here on the blog or making outfit posts as often as I used to. I guess I am just still trying to get better at managing my time and trust me it is not easy. But that's what is also exciting at the same time, not having a routine - a privilege only a few can have these days. I never know how my week will go. Literally anything can happen. I was in rainy Glasgow two days ago, and today I have sand in my toes while walking around my neighborhood here in Dubai.

I called this article a desert life because it really reflects me at this point. I only focus on what's in front of me, and I never know what I might come across. So although for someone who likes stability it might be a nightmare, for me - it is one of the best parts about life. It leaves you curious and I don't wanna lose that spark, ever! Now on a different note, I had a song stuck in my head for a while and I was playing it today when I got home and I heard a phrase "You must have seen her dancing in the sand". I instantly thought how fitting since I am posting an article today of me twirling around in the sand. So I guess that's what I am trying to say here, don't let life become too serious, find moments to stay foolish and free.

Today I'm listening to: Elton John - Little Dancer

With Love,

What I'm wearing: Blouse and Skirt - Edith Ella / Sandals - Zara
