Black Is Never Out Of Style

08:00:00

One of my favorite things about autumn is definitely layering. You can still be creative and show your tops, vests and blouses without having to zip up your jackets and coats. Throwing on a scarf around your neck and accessorizing the outfit with a statement pair of shoes or a more interesting bag is usually more than enough. So what's not to love about that effortless stylinh right? Although I'm definitely a summer girl at heart, I love wearing a good turtleneck sweater as I mentioned before. That's why I chose this perfect oversized wool knit from Loavies to add to my collection. Since it wasn't very cold in Germany just yet, I was fine wearing a blazer coat over the sweater for a day in the city. To complete the look, I put on my latest purchase from Zara - a clutch with embroidered roses and glitter, and a red lipstick to match. How do you like this look?

At the moment I am in China and I'm here till Friday, so I cannot wait to explore and walk around Yinchuan. If any of you have some recommendations what to try or to buy while I'm here I would appreciate your tips. I didn't take my camera because like always it was too heavy (really need to get a new one soon!), but I will try to take some photos with my phone to show you what I'll get up to in the next few days. Or as usual, you can follow me on Instagram to see my story - been pretty active lately with posting over there. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this look and the photos. Like always, a big thanks to my friend Nicola for taking them. Let me know your thoughts if you agree that black is never out of style! Sending you hugs.

With Love,
Bri

  1. I officially wish my entire wardrobe was black and I never had to think about what to wear ever again.

I just want you to know that I've kept up with your blog, even though I've neglected to comment for a while now. I started a new job and have been dealing with some things, which I hope to address on my blog soon, that have just drained all of my energy. I'm glad to see you've been doing well, and going on so many adventures!

    1. I agree with you. As much as I love fashion and clothes, I often find myself wishing I never had to care what to wear - wouldn't that be easy!

Do not worry about me, I was more concerned where have you been but so glad you've resurfaced. I hope you're better now and feel ready for this beautiful holiday season around the corner.

    1. Glad to hear you agree Clarissa:) Sometimes simplicity is key! After this outfit I realized, I need to invest in more basic pieces because they are so much easier to style.
